World Cup 2022 – Qatar (2 activities)

On November 20, 2022, the World Cup of soccer will begin in Qatar.  This is a world-wide competition and up until the finals, teams have only been able to play each other in a selection of countries that are relatively near.

We have two different activities involving the logic of setting up a fair draw and the number of matches that each team may have to play.

(1) How are teams allotted to their positions and groups?

The activity: WorldCup2022-allottment.pdf

For members we have an editable Word docx and solutions.
